Job Summary
The Head of PMO is responsible for ensuring that Arca’s projects and programs are planned, managed and delivered with transparency and discipline within define governance standards.

The incumbent will be a program management leader who embodies Arca’s values and principles of candor in communication and excellence.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role holder would be responsible for the following:
- Overall leadership and oversight for Project Management Office including resources and activities
- Leading development and update of ARCA PMO standards/approaches to project implementation to ensure alignment to business objectives and company values.
- Work with Business Sponsors, Product & Technology leaders to develop project roadmaps that align with business objectives/priorities and consider resource availability.
- Drive the refinement of Project delivery metrics to track project progress and highlight any bottlenecks in the project delivery process.
- Drive both internal and stakeholder engagements to address project impediments with a view of delivering progressing shorter project lead and cycle times.
- Direct project/program activities, conduct reviews, and use strong technical and business acumen to manage risk and address escalated impediments.
- Enforce consistency and standardise processes across project management office and organisation at large.
- Drive the adoption of clear project acceptance criteria to ensure an optimal project mix per period to drive the envisaged business objectives.
- Build, coach and retain a high-performance team of project/program managers and analysts.

Requirements
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other discipline related to software engineering. Masters or MBA would be a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification is mandatory.
- ITIL/Prince2/Scrum Certifications would be a plus.
Experience Requirements:
- 7+ years of relevant work experience in Program and Project management.
- Knowledge of Waterfall, and Agile/Scrum principles and practices.
- Excellent ability to understand architectural and technical aspects of projects including SDLC competence.
- Deep experience in managing complex programs delivered by distributed teams. (Experience in Banking, Fintech/Payments space is an added advantage)
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
